The show

Your startup sounds amazing.

Until someone starts asking questions.

Pitch Happens® is where founders take the stage to defend what they are building in front of people who did not come to nod along, swap LinkedIn profiles or tell you it “sounds super interesting”.

You come here to say what you do, why it matters and why anyone should believe it can work.

Then the questions start.

  • 01The good ones.
  • 02The uncomfortable ones.
  • 03The ones that weren't in the deck.

Because a good pitch shouldn't survive thanks to a pretty slide, a giant TAM or three buzzwords in a row.

It should survive a conversation.

  • Real pitches
  • Hard questions
  • Useful feedback
  • Zero hype

We're not here to roast founders.

We're here to stress-test ideas, arguments, metrics, stories and the occasional overly optimistic certainty.

Your mum already thinks your startup is amazing.

We want to know if it holds up under questions.

Pitch your startup.
Survive the conversation.

A live pitch moment at a Pitch Happens show

FAQ

Questions before you walk in

What is Pitch Happens?
Pitch Happens is a live show where real founders pitch real startups, a panel of experts asks the questions nobody asks and comedy burns the corporate buzzwords. Around the show there is training: Academy, Pitch LAB and analysis in The Debrief.
When is the first edition?
We are locking down the venue and line-up in Madrid. There is no public date and no tickets yet: the waitlist hears about it before it is announced.
How is it different from a demo day?
A demo day rewards the deck. Pitch Happens rewards surviving the room: time, audience or rules change, and feedback is public, direct and useful.
Can I come if I am not pitching?
Yes, and that is the most common way in. The audience asks, votes and decides part of what happens on stage.
How long is the show?
It is built like a theatre run: around 90 minutes of pitches, live feedback and comedy blocks, with no long breaks.
Can you run it inside my company or program?
Yes. The format adapts to demo days, educational programs, internal teams and communities. That layer is called Pitch Happens for Teams.
