FAQ

Everything people ask before coming

What is Pitch Happens?
Pitch Happens is a live show about the startup ecosystem where real founders pitch real projects to a room, a panel of experts gives feedback without anaesthesia and comedy dismantles corporate language. It is not a demo day and not a conference: the room is part of the format.
Who is Pitch Happens for?
For founders who want to test their story under pressure, for operators and experts who want to see real decisions, and for anyone in the startup ecosystem who enjoys watching an idea defend itself live. You do not need a startup to attend.
Where and when does it happen?
The first edition is being prepared in Madrid. There is no public date and no tickets on sale yet: we are locking down the venue and line-up. The waitlist is where it is announced first.
How is it different from a demo day?
A demo day rewards the deck. Pitch Happens rewards surviving the room: time, audience or rules change, questions arrive that were never in the deck, and feedback is public, direct and useful.
How do I take part as a founder?
Join the waitlist and tell us you want to pitch. We contact selected profiles ahead of each edition to prepare the format.
Can Pitch Happens run inside a company or program?
Yes. The format adapts to demo days, accelerators, universities, internal teams and communities. That layer is called Pitch Happens for Teams.
What is Pitch LAB?
Pitch LAB is the training layer: open and in-company workshops to build the story behind an idea and defend it without hiding behind the deck.
